How to Share iTunes Music with Home Sharing

The first method you can use is sharing iTunes music with your devices via Home Sharing. This is one of the official Apple methods. You can do this by following these steps:


Launch iTunes.

You cannot share music that wasn’t purchased officially.


You have to have a same network connection to share.

So make sure that before you start:


You have a strong network connection.


All your devices are set to have the same Apple ID.


Your iTunes software is updated.


Your computer is awake and your iTunes is running.


There are no problematic firewalls that could block the connection.

Here is how to share iTunes Music with iTunes sync function:


Launch iTunes. Be sure it is up to date.


Connect your iPhone to your computer.

Check “Sync Music” and select the music that you want to share.


Once done, click on “Sync” at the bottom.

The old music library on the device will be covered when you try to sync new music from iTunes.
